Our volunteer working hours are from 8:00am - 22:00pm. We will have four shifts, you can choose different shifts depending on your personal time. You don’t have to be in all four shifts.

16:00 PM - 20:00 PM
20:00 PM - 22:00 PM
Available Roles:
Media Team:
Responsible for shooting photos and video clips to catch interesting moments
Booth Support Team:
Help food vendors with their equipment setup, issues report and other
Activity Zone Team:
Help activity coordinator to process the activities successfully
Door Person:
Responsible for counting the number of tourism (at the main entrance)
Setup/Teardown:
Help set up and tear down the infrastructure on the site
Backup Volunteers:
Help other volunteers in the urgency time
Truck Opener:
Responsible for managing the cooler truck, recording name, time, vendor name, food type and quantity
Stage assistant:
Help stage setup and management, move audio equipment and control the mixer, etc.

With great anticipation and excitement, we are thrilled to announce the official unveiling of Taste Asia 2024 Programming, promising an array of new programs and innovations.
This year's Taste Asia event will be bigger and better than ever before, as we expand to occupy both Foundation Wharf and the Beach Volleyball Area, now designated as the T Zone and A Zone, respectively. Boasting a total of over 55 vendors, attendees can expect a delightful fusion of food, beverages, activities, performances, and crafts across both zones.

In an effort to create a cashless experience, Taste Asia 2024 is proud to introduce the Taste Asia “E-Access Card” in partnership with Snaplii. This digital gift card allows users to top-up in advance and shop seamlessly across the entire event. With cashback rewards and exclusive discounts available during the event, attendees can enjoy a hassle-free shopping experience.
Play Small, Give Big: Collaborating with vendors, sponsors, and patrons, Taste Asia 2024 is dedicated to addressing food insecurity and improving food accessibility. All profits from carnival games, live demo kitchen sessions, and the Taste Asia Gift Card will be donated to FeedNS, supporting those in need within our community.
The highlight of this year's event is the inaugural Kitchen on the Wharf and Live Cooking Show, brought to life in collaboration with IKEA. Featuring chefs from diverse backgrounds, attendees can witness captivating live cooking demonstrations, sample Asian-inspired flavors, and even vote for their favorite dishes. All proceeds from this session will be donated to Feed NS.
